I just read an article about an 82 year-old man who was tasered in his hospital bed last year in Kamloops, B.C.

He had to be on an oxygen device to breat since he was getting over pneumonia.  Well, apparently the man had an issue with the device because he wielded a 3 inch knife at the hospital staff.  Yikes!

Well, the staff just couldn’t calm him down or get near him so they called the police.

The man did not drop the weapon when ordered to so he was tasered 3 times in the torso.  Apparently the police couldn’t use pepper spray because it would contaminate the hospital.

So if you’re having a bad day, just think of this poor elderly man who got tasered in his hospital bed!
